It depends on your case. Shopify is better if you want something fast and simple and don't want to manage hosting or updates. WooCommerce is better if you need a lot of customisation, have a complex catalogue (variants, bundles) or would rather not pay a monthly platform fee long term. With Shopify you pay the Shopify fee (from €29/month) plus hosting if you have your own domain. With WooCommerce you only pay for hosting (from €8-15/month depending on the provider). On top of that there's the domain (~€10/year). I don't charge any additional monthly fees myself, only if you take out maintenance.
Yes. The store is delivered with a training session included. Adding products, managing orders, updating prices and handling stock is straightforward on both platforms. On WooCommerce I also show you how to set up automatic backups.
Yes. The stores I build can sell nationally and internationally. I configure shipping zones, differentiated rates, IGIC/VAT according to Canarian regulations and whichever delivery options you use (MRW, Correos, click and collect, etc.).
If you have more than 20-50 products, we look at importing them in bulk (CSV or migration from another platform) to speed things up. I include product import in the quote if your catalogue is well organised.
