Asociación Más Mujer Canarias (AMMCA)
asociacionmasmujer.es ↗The client
Asociación Más Mujer Canarias (AMMCA) is a leading organisation in the Canary Islands working on equality, female entrepreneurship and professional recognition. With well-established awards, publications and an active community, they needed a digital presence worthy of their institutional standing — a website that communicated their mission, made their achievements visible and worked as a channel for media, members and partners.
The challenge
Associations and NGOs usually face two digital problems at once: a limited budget and a need for high institutional credibility. They couldn't afford a mediocre website — the people they deal with are media outlets, institutions and corporate sponsors who judge professionalism from the very first click.
The solution
I designed an institutional website that balances two needs: institutional gravitas and editorial accessibility. The structure lets any visitor understand within seconds who they are and what they do, while the active blog turns every event or award into content Google indexes.
A professional design with sections for awards, projects and publications. The proof of authority any institutional contact is looking for.
The association publishes on its own. Every news item is a new entry point on Google, indexed for months or years.
1 in 3 visits arrives from social media. The website gives credibility and permanence to the community those channels create.

Why it worked
Every article published is a new entry point on Google. The association had genuine news — awards, events, publications — that deserved to be indexed. The article on the Más Mujer 2025 Awards has an average reading time of 4 minutes. An active blog doesn't just inform the community: it creates pages Google finds and ranks.
1 in 3 visits arrives directly from social media. The association had an active community on social channels with no website to go deeper into. The site created that destination: social media builds the community, the website gives it credibility and permanence.
The awards, projects and publications section isn't decorative — it's the proof of authority any institutional contact looks for. A media outlet or a sponsor visiting the site needs to find quickly why this association matters. The architecture answers that question before it's even asked.

What I took away
Más Mujer Canarias proved to me that winning people over on Google goes to whoever writes best for the user, not whoever applies the most techniques. The click-through performance (1 in 8) isn't the result of a trick — it's the result of article titles that answer exactly what someone is looking for. An editorial blog is the highest-return investment for institutional websites: every news item is content Google keeps indexed for months or years.
