From nothing to 120 Google searches: the website that turns visitors into customers in a Tenerife village
72% of the people who arrive stay and keep browsing. Almost 3 minutes on average. With no advertising spend.

An excellent business, invisible online
Sinapsis is a personal training centre in Tejina, in the north of Tenerife. With their own methodology and proven results with their members, they needed a digital presence that would make them visible whenever someone in the area searched for a gym or functional training. With no website, they relied entirely on word of mouth.
The challenge
Competing on Google from a village in Tenerife
90% of their potential customers were looking at alternatives on Google, but Sinapsis appeared in no search at all. On top of that, most of their visitors would arrive on mobile: a slow site, or one that was awkward on a phone, would mean losing the user before they read a single line.
- 1Appearing on Google for local searches in Tejina and the north of Tenerife
- 2A packages and pricing page that encouraged a first contact without needing to call
- 3Getting the visitor to stay — not close the tab after 10 seconds
The solution
A mobile-first website designed to convert
I designed the site around three priorities: fast on mobile, visible on Google and with a natural path through to the pricing page. A complete 5-page website, designed for mobile first, where 75% of visitors arrive, and Google Analytics configured from day one.
Mobile-first
75% arrive on mobile. Every element was designed and tested on a small screen first.
Local SEO
Copy and structure geared to Tejina, the north of Tenerife and proximity searches.
Conversion page
Clear, unambiguous packages and prices, with a single call to action.
Month-by-month growth

Why it worked
3 decisions that made the difference
The pricing page as the conversion engine
The second most visited page on the site is /bonos-de-sesiones-y-precios/. That was no accident: it was designed with a clear visual hierarchy, unambiguous prices and a single message. Users who reach that page have strong intent to sign up; the design doesn't get in their way.
Content that answers what the user wants to know
The page on the Sinapsis method has racked up 160 views with a very low exit rate: whoever reads it carries on browsing. That happens when the content genuinely answers what someone wants to know before joining somewhere new — not selling, simply informing properly.
A local presence built from the ground up
"Tejina", "north of Tenerife", "near Tegueste" — these geographic references were woven naturally into the copy and the structure of the site. Google picked them up and started showing the website for proximity searches within weeks.
"We used his service to design our website and he did a very professional, detailed job, exactly as we wanted it. We recommend him 100% to companies and freelancers who want to promote themselves and have a quality space on the web."

What I took away
Sinapsis confirmed that quality matters more than the volume of traffic. With 389 unique users over 6 months — a modest figure — this website has a dwell time and a bounce rate that any site with ten times the visits would envy. Building it properly from the start multiplies the value of every visit. A local business in a small village can compete on Google with anyone if the strategy is executed well.
